The route is complete now and ready to test ride. These are remote places with little outside contact. Be prepared to unexpectedly spend the night out in the woods. Be prepared for emergencies and to take care of yourself. Be prepared for the possibility of adverse weather at times. There are lots of choices for both options. Riders can choose to carry all their camping gear or simply stay in motels along the way. Many riders can choose to do the trail in parts, at different times. Riders are advised that they should allow 9 days to 2 weeks to complete the entire trail. For many, this allows them to just experience the trail without the burden of getting lost. Or riders can simply choose to ride off the routes and return to them later. Riders can choose to follow along at times or can choose among hard and easy options. The routes are then displayed as the rider travels along. Riders install a custom GPS CAT microSD card into their Garmin GPS unit. The CAT is designed to be a self guided adventure. These red options are not recommended for larger bikes or Jeeps. For advanced riders on smaller dual sport bikes I have added some tough options, even singletrack in places. Some sections can be tough and during those sections riders have an option to take green or easier paved routes. The main CAT trail is shown on maps in blue. The CAT route has been designed with options for difficulty levels depending on your skill level and desires. Now it is the time to tackle the grandaddy of all rides. You can give her weapons from this screen, such as the pistol or the shotgun, but you can also hand her a GPS tracker to mark her on the map. To give Virginia a tracker, befriend her and then interact with her to open up her inventory. Unlike Kelvin, Virginia does not have a tracker by default, so you'll need to give her one to find her easily. The best use for a GPS tracker right now is to give one to Virginia, the three-legged woman that you can recruit as a companion. While holding a GPS tracker, left-click to cycle through various icons, which will change how it looks on the map. After picking them up, the GPS trackers will get added to your inventory, from which you can equip them in your hand.
